Mrs Tracey Scott (f)

Practice Based Pharmacist

Tracey worked as a Community Pharmacist for ten years, before taking up the role of Practice Based Pharmacist in January 2017.


In February 2018, she qualified as a Non-Medical Independent Prescriber after completing a Post-Graduate qualification through Queens University Belfast, with an interest in Asthma.


She is a member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Northern Ireland.


 


Tracey provides prescribing support within the Practice. Her role includes:


Reviewing patient medications, dealing with medication/prescription requests, managing medicines after hospital discharge, developing prescribing protocols, drug safety monitoring, cost-saving.


 


Tracey runs an asthma clinic on a Tuesday afternoon, and can also be contacted for telephone & face to face Patient Medicine advice and support.


 

Mrs Maeve Devlin

Since graduating and registering as a member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Northern Ireland, Maeve has garnered wide experience across the pharmaceutical landscape; lending her expertise to the industrial, therapeutic, and clinical arenas.


 


Maeve’s footing within patient-fronted services spans years working within both community pharmacy and hospital pharmacy. Additionally, prior to advancing to the role of Practice Based Pharmacist, Maeve stepped into the posts of Senior Pharmacist and Project Manager, specialising in clinical trials.


 


Working within the practice-based team, Maeve provides prescribing support to ensure both quality and safety of prescribing within the practice. Her roles include clinical medication reviews, handling prescription and medication requests, reconciling and managing medications following hospital discharge, drug safety monitoring, developing prescribing protocols, and conducting cost-saving measures.


 


Maeve has attained her Independent Prescribing Qualification and specialises in management of Type 2 Diabetes.


 


Maeve can be contacted for medication advice and support.

Ms Laura Ferguson

Laura joined our team in Jan 23, she is currently covering a maternity leave.

Laura has an interest in diabetes, she works all day Monday & Friday.
